TELEPHONE SERVICES

PLEASE NOTE: The following services are provided by Frontier Communications of Rochester. For other telephone service providers, call their customer service representatives.

Directory Assistance (411): Individuals with disabilities may be exempted from (411) Local Directory Assistance charges by obtaining an exemption certificate. Applications are available from Frontier Customer Service Office
(585) 777-1200 and ABVI-Goodwill
(585) 232-1111

Calling Card (also available): This calling card allows people with disabilities to receive operator assistance on long distance calls at the direct dial rate. Persons applying must be certified by a physician, ophthalmologist, optometrist, or a representative of ABVI-Goodwill or the Rochester Rehabilitation Center. The special calling card application is available from Frontier Customer Services Office, (585) 777-1200, ABVI-Goodwill, or Rochester Rehabilitation Center.

In addition: Monthly bills from Frontier, (585) 777-1200, and from Rochester Gas & Electric Corporation, an Energy East Company, (585) 546-1100, are available in Braille and large print upon request.
