LIBRARIES

ABVI-Goodwill: The Braille/tape library, located at ABVI-Goodwill, has a selection of books in Braille and/or on tape that are available for loan upon request. For information, call (585) 232-1111 on any Wednesday morning between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon and ask for the library.

Central Library of Rochester and Monroe County, NY: (Rundel Library), 115 South Avenue, Rochester, New York 14604-1896 Provides an excellent source of taped and large print materials. Magnifying equipment and synthesized speech are available for use at the Main Branch. Talking book reading machines are also available on loan, as well as an extensive selection of audio-described videotaped movies. For more information, (585) 428-7300.

New York Resource Center for the Visually Impaired:
The Resource Center provides textbooks and other educational materials on loan, for parents, teachers and children who are blind or visually impaired, in their local public school settings. Professional in-services for teachers and parents are offered at no charge. Send requests for information to:

Parent Educator Resource Library:
