BRAILLE TRANSCRIPTION SERVICE

The following volunteer groups will transcribe printed material into Braille for persons who are blind or visually impaired in the Greater Rochester Area:

East Rochester Volunteer Braille Group

First Baptist Church Braille Service
Contact: Alice Webster, (585) 442-5023.

Spencerport Lions Braille Service
Contact: Shirley Davis, (585) 594-5441.

In addition:

National Braille Association transcribes books, textbooks and other material for individuals and organizations. There is a charge per page of Braille. For more information, (585) 427-8260.

National Braille Press publishes a listing of organizations that will Braille one or more copies of a document. Call or write:
